The annual Moorefield Christmas parade has set for Saturday, December 7, 2024. Line up for the parade will begin at the Moorefield Town Park on Spring Avenue at 3:30 PM, with the parade beginning at 4:00 P.M. The parade will proceed west on Spring Avenue and turning left onto Main Street. The parade will continue south until it reaches the downtown stoplight and then turning west onto Winchester. The parade will end on Town Run Road. After the parade, there will be festivities at the corner of Winchester and Main in the parking lot including the annual tree lighting, live nativity scene, singing, and possibly food trucks. The annual tree lighting is hosted by the Moorefield Lions Club. Holidays On Ice returns to the Town Park on Friday, November 22. The skating rink will be open every weekend weather permitting. The schedule is as follows: Friday’s – 6PM – 10PM, Saturdays – 2PM – 10PM, and Sundays – 2PM – 6PM. Admission is free, skate rental is free, and concessions will be available for purchase.
